Gone But Not Forgotten

I'm going OT today
Today MJ was laid to rest. SO much Hoopla. It got me thinking about death and dying. He died at 50, too young for our times. I hope to live longer. I live my life to the fullest and take NOTHING for granted. I learned that lesson from past experiences. I have two thoughts on death:
1) No matter how old or how sick, we will still be VERY affected by the loss of a loved one.
2) The death of ONE person affects SO many.

With that, dealing with death is one of the most trying and tiresome things. It will wear you to the bone, wipe you out physically and emotionally. You need friends and family to lean on. Don't try to be a marter. If you want to help someone who lost a loved one, give them a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on. When the time is right, keep the deceased memory alive with stories and traditions. It will be greatly appreciated.
