I'm Still Breathing!

There is some much to be said about that statement and other sayings such as, you take my breath away or you leave me breathless. I guess they never included asthmatics. A day without choking or hacking is a really good day in the life of an asthmatic. With the swine flu spreading like wild fire, the last thing someone wants to hear is coughing close by. They do not care if it is a chronic condition, they still give you that YOU are the leaper look and back off. So today, I am on the road to recovery from spiraling out of being controlled (asthma wise) and for that I am HAPPY! I am NOT breathless! I can sleep laying down.

One Down One to GO

WOO HOO I Handed in My administration final today. What a relief. I am not done with the semester but I finished one project. Tomorrow I present. I am very proud of myself for finishing on time and getting this done. I do work full time, take care of my family and do motivational speaking. I am working on a team of 4 for this final project and I have to say we really pulled together in the end. We looked out for each other. I had major issues tonight due to bad weather but I pulled myself together and collaborated online and I AM DONE! I read a saying once, you will get it all done in the end, if you don't its not the end. We stress and stress but If you do not get it done, it isn't the end. Sometimes we have to just let things go. Do not sweat the small stuff.

Rain brings Flowers

It rained AGAIN today. But you know what? It wasn't all that bad. I didn't have to water my garden. My newly planted bushes are getting lots of water. I was forced to stay in and really concentrate on my school work. I got so much done! If it was a warm, sunny day, I would have been out running around. I also got my main clothes closet organized and threw out some stuff. I really took advantage of being housebound today. I got a lot accomplished. There really was a bright side to this dark and dreary day.

Fridays are Fabulous

There is always a good feeling waking up on a Friday. You know you are putting that work week to an end. You are saying goodbye to whatever went wrong the days before. You know you can sleep in the next few days. You can stay up late without having to pay for it. TGIF. For the most part, I don't cook on Fridays, so for me Fridays means No kitchen duty! It also means a cocktail of some sort. Fridays, truly are fabulous. I toast to my dear friends, who help me through the the days that aren't so fabulous.
